Recently
I ran across a blog that was not very nice. It wasn’t nice to me or to anyone
else for that matter. The person who wrote this seems to be a very lonely
person and looking for attention. Probably from the very people he or she is
hurting.
I
would like to address some of the issues that he or she mentioned regarding
myself. This person and I used to be friends and write together (I know that I
said I would never mention it again, but after reading the blogs it seems that
I should).
1. Stolen Book
a. The book that was
supposedly stolen was one I created from my own head.
b. He or she had the
idea to do a series of books that crossover at certain points.
c. I admit to using
parts of her work for that, as per the crossover idea.
d. I did rearrange, rename, and redo
descriptions of places and people so that it was no longer her work.
2. Stolen Tattoo
Idea
Original Tattoo Idea. |
a. When I was
speaking with this former friend, the tattoo I recently got, was the one I was
going to get with him or her.
b. I had decided not
to get one and recently decided to treat myself to finally getting it. This
being prompted by my husband getting his nipples pierced.
c. I searched for
over a month to find the original tattoo I wanted to get. It was a butterfly
with the HIM symbol of a heartagram in the center. The tattoo artist made some
modifications to the original and I love the one I got (picture below).
3. Other Things I’ve
Supposedly Stolen
a. I am not a thief.
b. She says that I have stolen many
of her book ideas. How can I do that when I’m blocked by HER or by ME? Blocked
means that you can’t see what someone else is doing. Am I right?
c. I have NOT read
any of her recent work nor do I care to do so.
4. Rudeness to My
Fans
Final Tattoo by Emi Ink @ Voodoo Tattoo and Piercings |
a. If I have them I don’t
know about them.
b. In one blog he or
she says that he or she witnessed me treating said fans like they were dog
shit. (Not what he or she used, but it works).
c. We weren’t around
each other long enough to meet any ‘fans’ that either of us may have had. Nor
are there.
5. Bitterness
a. He or she claims
that my husband and I are pissed off that he or she refused to become friends
again. Not true.
b. If someone is y
our friend, there doesn’t need to be stipulations. If my husband can’t talk to
you or about you then I don’t want to talk to you. My husband is a part of me.
c. Also this former
friend claims that my husband was always lurking when he or she was around.
WRONG! My former friend was hardly ever around. I went across the country to
meet this person and get our careers started. Then I’m left in a strange city
with strange people and the only person I’m speaking to is the dude down the
hall. My former friend was only around three times after I got there. His or
her birthday, a weekly visit with his or her dad, and then to bitch me out
because I kissed the dude down the hall.
I think this is
enough for now. I just had to get this off my chest. I’m also going to try and
blog a lot better from now on.
Later.
