Amazon

As my last post said, I’ve been working really hard to get the novels done so that they can be published on Amazon. They’re all up but one. I’m looking into why because the Kindle edition is up just fine. I’ll keep you posted on what’s going on there. So I started my Amazon author’s page and the address is amazon.com/author/mariegarcia. I’m excited about this. It’s just one more step to help me and other authors like me find success. Hopefully.
I’ve also been working hard on getting Fake finished. I’m excited to say that while I was having trouble trying to figure out how to fill the remaining pages before the final ‘battle’ between the Killer and Addyson, I figured it out.
As I mentioned in various Tweets and Facebook status posts; I have three ideas for the next three books of the Delta Files series. So I’ve decided to toss these plots into Fake not only to fill out the pages, but to see how they do.
Fake is coming along nicely now. I had to take a break from writing it to not only write this blog, but get my author page set up, and do my work for my day job.  When I left work the other day I was at chapter 34 and now I’m at chapter 35. It shouldn’t be too much longer until I get those subplots done and can move on to the finale between the killer and Addyson. I still have no idea how I’m going to do that. I just know the end result!
       Oh well.
Trea is brewing and stewing and waiting for her side of the story to be heard, but she has to be patient. The hardest part was already knowing what the final words were for BOTH novels and writing them down already.
       That’s all for now

Thanks

News

The last few days I’ve been working especially hard on getting all the novels I had ready to be published on Amazon, published. The main reason I was waiting to get them was because when I first started them late last year/ beginning of this year, there was only one option available. That option was to buy a physical copy of the book, wait for it to arrive, and then okay the copy. If you didn’t okay the copy and found things wrong you had to go back and do the whole thing OVER!
Now you have the option of looking at it online or downloading a PDF and going over it that way. With the PDF you can view it on your computer or print it out. I like these options because it saves you money.
Yesterday when I went to look at the progress of Dew and The Scorned American I noticed another option for publication. THE KINDLE!! Everyone has been asking me when the books, especially the series, are going to be available via the Kindle. I had to tell them it wouldn’t be. Now I can give them a link or they can look up my name.
I am excited about this idea. Hopefully people will download the books to their Kindle and like them enough to buy hard copies. Each Kindle edition will be $5.00.

            That’s all for now.

Updates

I wanted to update everyone on what has been going on this weekend. The writing is moving along wonderfully!
I managed to get three short stories done:
The temporary cover for Dreamland Theater.
*      Secret Affair -- A man tells his wife he's being blackmailed and shows her the proof.
*      Perfect -- Beth and Jason love each other. She thinks he's perfect.
*      Early Morning in the Woods --Aimee Michele is taking her three daughters; Judi, Meeghan, and Maddie May, into the woods for some mother/daughter time. She knows that they're in danger of turning into rotten kids, but Aimee Michele also knows what the power of nature can do.
They only took a few days to write and helped me get over the small bout of writer’s block I was having. I’ve been working almost nonstop on handwriting the chapters of Fake and typing them up so that they can be read. I am putting Trea Bella-Donna, the novella companion to Fake, on temporary hold until after Fake is done.
Temporary cover for Sai.
I have decided that Thursday and Friday I will be handwriting my chapters, Saturday and Sunday I will be typing them up, and on Monday I will be catching up on my reading. That may not seem like a big thing, but I think it will help me to get caught up on everything.
I have several novels in the works:
*      Fake -- Addyson and the other detectives are back. This time they are hunting a killer of teenage girls. They are a small group of rich kids that live or have lived on the river. They all share a secret.
Could one of them be the killer?
*      Trea Bella-Donna -- This begins five months before FAKE and picks up where FAKE begins.
*      Sai -- The story of Sai, how she became a vampire, and dealing with child rearing.
*      Dreamland Theater --  Marie has a theater and a dream, but someone is trying to ruin that with murder.
Temporary cover for Twelve Months.
*      Endless Soul -- Many have questioned that we are reborn. That we have not one, but many lives.
The lives of these women proves it.
The soul starts out as Circe Yannis of Ancient Greece. She's married to a wonderful man named Adonis until one day her life changes.
It continues to Ancient Persia in the form of young Amari Mandana. There she encounters numerous hardships.
From Ancient Persia to Ireland. There is Aislin Quinlain. She lives long and has a very happy life.
In Italy, Italia Nico has it easy. She comes from a long line of aristocrats and has the attitude and money to prove it.
Scotland brings Marnie Dougal and her trip on the infamous
Titanic.
Finally in modern America, Pennsylvania Wylie and how she comes to find the connection between herself and these extraordinary women.
Temporary cover for Trea Bella-Donna,
*      Twelve Months -- Twelve months, six couples, one crazy story
As of right now I have put everything put Fake on hold and any short stories that pop up. The second I get the novel done I am going to finish up Trea Bella-Donna and try to work on one of the above novels. Maybe Twelve months. I dunno yet.
            That’s all for now.
